Undetected Sea of Thieves Hacks and Cheats: SOT Aimbot, ESP and Ship ESP for PC
SkyCheats sells Sea of Thieves cheats for the PC game: aimbot, player and ship ESP, treasure and barrel ESP, and cannon tools built around how naval fights actually play out. We carry two builds, listed below, and they don't run on the same copies of the game. If you've used ESP in other shooters, most of it carries over, but cannons, oxygen and the Steam versus Xbox app split don't, so we go through those in detail.

What Sea of Thieves Cheats Do on PC
There are no cheat codes or console commands in Sea of Thieves. Anything that shows you hidden pirates or steadies your aim is a third-party program reading the game while it runs, and that's what we sell.
On PC, SoT comes in two versions. The Windows version launched on 20 March 2018 and is the one you get through the Xbox app and Game Pass. The Steam release followed on 3 June 2020, with crossplay against Xbox players. They're separate installs, and a cheat has to support each one. One of ours runs only on the Steam version, while the other runs on both Steam and the Xbox app.
Server type is the other split. High Seas is the shared world, where any crew you meet can attack you. Safer Seas, added in December 2023, gives your crew a private PvE server. Gold and reputation pay out at 30% of High Seas rates there, and Trading Company levels stop at 40.
Our software loads the same way in both modes, and Easy Anti-Cheat and Rare's enforcement policy apply in both as well. Safer Seas has no separate rules for cheaters.
- Steam and Xbox app (Game Pass) are separate PC installs
- High Seas: shared servers with PvP against other crews
- Safer Seas: one crew per server, 30% gold and reputation, no Hourglass
- Xbox and PS5 consoles aren't supported; we make Windows PC software only
Sea of Thieves Aimbot: Pistols, Eye of Reach and Cannon Trajectory

Most SoT gunfights happen on a rolling deck, with boarders coming up your ladder halfway through a cannon exchange. The blunderbuss fires a spread of pellets that wrecks people up close and does little at range. Flintlock shots arc over distance, so long pistol shots are harder than they look.
The Eye of Reach is the scoped rifle: big damage on one clean hit, poor accuracy from the hip. Throwing knives and the double barrel pistol cover close and mid range. The blowpipe, added in October 2024, fires darts such as poison and black powder, and holding the charge longer sends them farther.
On the build that runs on both Steam and the Xbox app, our aimbot works from bones. You pick head, neck, chest or stomach, or let it take the closest bone, then set a field of view so it only engages pirates near your crosshair. Smoothing keeps the camera from snapping, and a max distance stops it reaching for someone across the island. Player lock holds you on one pirate during cutlass fights, where people dodge and lunge around you.
The Steam-only build handles aim differently. You choose normal or silent aim, where shots land without your camera visibly turning, and set an aim speed plus a visibility check that skips pirates behind cover.
It also covers cannons, the part that trips up players coming from other shooters. Cannonballs drop over distance and both ships are moving, so it projects the arc for you. Chain shot gets its own mode, since it flies on a lower arc than a regular ball. One hit breaks the mast of a brigantine or galleon, as well as the capstan or wheel, which slows the other crew's escape.
- Bone selection or closest-bone targeting, with player lock
- FOV, smoothing and max distance limits
- Silent aim, aim speed, visibility check, cannon trajectory and chain shot aim (Steam only)
Sea of Thieves ESP: Ships, Pirates, Health and Oxygen

You'll often hear cannon fire before you can make out the sloop it came from. Both of our builds include ship ESP, which puts a name and distance on every vessel long before you could pick it out on the horizon. A sloop holds up to two pirates, a brigantine up to three and a galleon up to four, so the ship type on your screen already tells you the most you could be fighting.
Player ESP draws a box or skeleton on each pirate through hulls and rocks, along with a health bar. The one that also runs on the Xbox app adds nicknames, a view line showing where each pirate is looking, and an oxygen bar.
That bar earns its place around shipwrecks and sunken areas, where divers go after loot and you can see whose air is running low before you follow them down. A crew HUD puts your own crew's health and oxygen in one panel.
For creatures, the Steam-only side marks sharks, megalodons and mermaids. A mermaid appears next to a pirate who has drifted far from their ship and carries them back to it, so a mermaid marker gives away a swimmer you'd otherwise miss.
- Ship name and distance on every vessel
- Box, skeleton and health bar through hulls and rocks
- Nickname, view line, oxygen bar and crew HUD (Steam and Xbox app)
- Shark, megalodon and mermaid markers (Steam only)
Treasure, Barrel and Animal ESP: SOT Hacks for Loot Runs

Most of your gold comes from hauling chests and skulls back to an outpost, and that's where SOT hacks save the most time. On the Steam-only build, loot ESP marks chests, skulls and other treasure through sand and walls. Its island, riddle and puzzle ESP also cuts out a lot of pacing on riddle voyages.
Barrel ESP is on our other build, the one that also runs on the Xbox app. It shows what each barrel holds, whether that's wood, food or cannonballs, so you can grab planks for patching holes and stock up before a fort without opening every barrel on the island. We'd call it the most practical marker for long sessions.
That one's misc tab also flags merchant cargo, resources, quest items, emissary flags and raw food, and adds an FOV changer and crosshair. Animal ESP is on both builds, and it points to the chickens, pigs and snakes that Merchant Alliance voyages ask you to catch and deliver.
- Chest, skull, island, riddle and puzzle ESP (Steam only)
- Barrel contents: wood, food or cannonballs
- Merchant cargo, resource, quest item, emissary flag and raw food markers
- Animal ESP for Merchant Alliance deliveries
Cannon and Harpoon ESP for Naval Fights
If you'd rather keep your own aim on the cannons, the Steam and Xbox app option gives you cannon ESP rather than cannon aim. It draws a trajectory line from the cannon you're manning and a circle where the shot will land. You can see whether the current angle puts the ball into their hull, over their deck or into the water, and you still fire every shot yourself.
Harpoon ESP does the same for the ship-mounted harpoon. A prediction line and circle show where the harpoon will travel, which helps when you're pulling loot out of the water or hooking a rock to swing your bow around a tight turn.
- Trajectory line from the cannon you're manning
- Circle on the predicted landing point
- Harpoon prediction line and circle
SOT Cheats in Hourglass, Forts and World Events
Hourglass is the ship-versus-ship PvP mode, and the fight there is almost entirely naval, which makes it the mode where SOT cheats get leaned on hardest. Your crew votes on the War Map at the Captain's Table, dives, and surfaces near a matched crew. The battle area is a circle that shrinks over time. Sail out of it and your Hourglass cracks, then explodes, sinking your ship and handing the other crew the win.
Skeleton forts and other world events pull crews from across the server. While yours clears the fort, player and ship ESP show who's rowing in to steal the vault loot, and barrel ESP finds the cannonballs you'll want for the next fight.
On the sail back to an outpost with a full hold, we'd leave ship ESP on. You'll see whether the ship behind you is closing well before it's in cannon range.
- Hourglass: ship ESP and cannon lines inside the shrinking circle
- Forts and world events: player ESP on crews rowing in
- Selling runs: distance on any ship following you
Movement and Exploit Features (Steam Only)
Beyond visuals and aim, the Steam-only build has a misc tab that changes how your pirate moves and fights.
These are the features other players are most likely to notice and report, because anyone on your ship or nearby can watch them happen. A pirate who climbs a ladder in one step or walks along the seabed stands out, and Rare's ban policy doesn't treat any feature as lighter than another.
- Bunny Hop, Air Jump and Instant Ladder: chained jumps that keep your speed, a second jump in mid-air, ladders climbed in one step
- Walk Underwater: walk along the seabed instead of swimming
- Faster Sword and No Blocking Slowness: quicker cutlass swings, no slowdown while you block
- Faster Reloading and No Spread: shorter reloads, shots that don't scatter
- Disable Sky & Fog, No Drunkenness and water or weapon wireframes: visual changes to the sky, fog, grog effects and how water and weapons are drawn
- Free Cam and Skin Changer: a camera detached from your pirate, and swaps for the cosmetics you see on your pirate
Easy Anti-Cheat, Rare's 12-Point Ban Policy and What Undetected Means
For most of its life SoT ran without a third-party anti-cheat, which is why older threads call it an easy game to cheat in. That changed in March 2024, when Rare added Easy Anti-Cheat in a game update. Press coverage of that update described it as kernel-level. Rare also said EAC would get updates outside the game's regular patch schedule to keep pace with cheat developers.
Rare tightened enforcement in 2025 with a points system. An account can carry up to 12 points before a permanent ban. Toxic chat earns 1–3 points per instance, discriminatory language earns 7, and the total drops by 1 after each month without new reports. Cheaters get all 12 points at once, plus a permanent ban. Your enforcement status shows on your seaofthieves.com profile.
Rare has described its stance as zero tolerance for in-game hacking or cheating, and reports from other players feed that system alongside EAC.
When our store shows Undetected, it means we found no known detection at our last check and we're still maintaining the software. We change the label as soon as that stops being true, and nobody can say how long it will hold. Any cheat in an online game carries ban risk, and in SoT a detection means a permanent ban on the first offence.
- Live status for each build on the store page
- After a game patch, status goes to Updating while we retest; in our experience that takes a few hours, sometimes up to a day
- Both builds are HWID-locked, so each key works on one PC
- Support staff for setup and status questions
Free Sea of Thieves Hacks, Trainers and Mod Menus: Why They Get Banned
Free Sea of Thieves hacks are public downloads, and the people writing detections can grab them as easily as you can. A free loader that works today is usually among the first things flagged after an anti-cheat update.
Searching for a trainer or mod menu turns up a lot of pre-2024 tooling from before EAC, plus YouTube videos linking to loaders nobody maintains. When the game patches, they quietly stop working and you find out in-game. Most also ask for admin rights, and you have no idea what else the loader does with them.
What you pay us for is upkeep: we retest after every patch and update the status on the store page before you launch.
Choosing a Build: Steam-Only or Steam and Xbox App

Check how you launch the game first. If you play through the Xbox app or Game Pass, the Steam-only build won't load, so the one that runs on both Steam and the Xbox app is your option. On Steam, either works. Both run on Windows 10 and 11 with Intel or AMD CPUs.
After that it comes down to playstyle. Ship and player ESP with oxygen, barrel and animal ESP, and cannon and harpoon lines make the Steam and Xbox app option a good fit for players who want information but prefer to aim themselves. Silent aim, cannon and chain shot aim, loot and creature ESP, and the movement tab all need Steam.
An HWID Spoofer is sold separately and isn't part of either SoT build.
- Xbox app or Game Pass copy: the option that runs on both Steam and the Xbox app
- Steam copy: either option
- Oxygen bars, barrel contents and cannon or harpoon lines: Steam and Xbox app option
- Silent aim, chain shot aim and the movement tab: Steam only

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you cheat in Sea of Thieves?
Not through the game itself. Sea of Thieves has no cheat codes, console commands or free-stuff codes. Cheating means running third-party software such as an aimbot or ESP alongside the game on PC. That breaks Rare's rules, and under Rare's enforcement policy cheaters get 12 points at once, which means a permanent ban.
Is Sea of Thieves still full of cheaters?
Less than before 2024, though they haven't gone away. Rare added Easy Anti-Cheat in March 2024, and its 2025 points system treats cheating as an instant permanent ban. Even before EAC, Rare's Spring 2023 fair play update reported 8,000 permanent bans from its security team over 12 months.
What anti-cheat does SoT use?
Easy Anti-Cheat, added in a March 2024 update. It gets its own updates between game patches, and player reports feed Rare's enforcement system on top of it.
Can a Sea of Thieves aimbot be detected?
Yes, any cheat can be. Detection depends on the anti-cheat's current methods and on reports from players who watch how you aim. Our store page shows each build's current status, and we retest after patches. Something that's Undetected today can change after an EAC update, so check the status before each session.
Does it work on the Xbox app or Game Pass version?
One of our builds runs only on the Steam version. The other runs on both the Steam version and the Xbox app version that Game Pass players use. If you play through PC Game Pass, you're on the Xbox app version. Console versions on Xbox and PS5 aren't supported.
Can Sea of Thieves be modded?
Not in the way PC games with mod support can. Rare's official route for custom play is Custom Seas, added in Season 20 in June 2026, which lets players create their own modes. Trainers and mod menus for the live game count as cheats under Rare's enforcement policy.
Is using an aimbot illegal?
We aren't lawyers, but in most places using a cheat in an online game breaks the game's terms rather than the law. In SoT the practical consequence is losing the account. Check your local laws if you're unsure.
How do I activate the cheat menu?
There's no built-in cheat menu in Sea of Thieves. With our software, you start the loader from your account, launch the game, and open the menu with the hotkey listed in the setup guide. If the menu doesn't appear after a game update, check the store page first, since the status may show Updating. Our support team handles any other setup questions.
